The 1956 Dodge La Femme

The 1956 Dodge La Femme is perhaps the most striking car released by Chrysler in 1956. While some people would argue that the 1956 Chrysler 300B, Plymouth Fury or DeSoto Adventurer should be given the top honor for design in 1956, the Dodge La Femme provides for them some pretty stiff competition. Whereas the 1955 La Femme utilized the same basic interior found on the Custom Royal Lancer (and an already available two tone exterior combination), the 1956 La Femme featured the "La Femme Only" colors of Regal Orchid and Misty Orchid. Not satisfied with just the exterior, the interior designers at Dodge also provided a special interior, available here in all its splendor, for the woman who wanted a distinct and uniquely feminine automobile.
